Preface

What is a CASIE?  Generally, all decisions and actions taken by ExComm expire at the end of each two-year term.  CASIEs (Chapter Actions Still in Effect) are a way to continue good  ideas, policies and practices over from one term to the next.  They remain in effect until amended or revoked.  ExComm reviews the CASIEs every term for appropriate changes.  If you have any questions, comments or suggestions about CASIEs, please contact any ExComm Member.

CASIEs are listed here in chronological order. All CASIEs are numbered by the two-digit year in which they were originally passed, a hyphen, and the sequence number within the year. For example, 92-4 was the fourth CASIE passed in 1992; 04-1 was the first CASIE passed in 2004.

Mensa terms in these CASIEs are:

AG The Annual Gathering is American Mensa's national convention, held near the 4th of July each year in different host cities around the United States.
AML       American Mensa, Limited is the legal name of our national organization.
ExComm The Executive Committee is C&WM's elected volunteer board of directors. Current ExComm members are listed on the Contacts Page.
LocSec The Local Secretary is the equivalent of Chapter President or Chairman. The LocSec is one member of the ExComm.
RG The Regional Gathering is C&WM's annual weekend of fun, fellowship, and learning. Naturally, there's a Regional Gathering Page on the C&WM Site.
